Ok, just a quick rant this morning.
Why can’t you pin a viddler video?”
No, I don’t have an answer. I’m just shocked. I tried pinning from Gary Vaynerchuck‘s Wine Library TV site, and the viddler site. I tried searching the Viddler Help Forum. And there is literally NOTHING about Pinterest. Wow.
Epic failure. For people not familiar, viddler is a video hosting site that is good, but in this case, way behind.
Am I missing something?

Howdy, Jason. This is because Pinterest doesn’t currently support the oEmbed standard for many video services (other than YouTube). You may also note that Vimeo videos don’t currently play as embed on Pinrerest. (Example: https://pinterest.com/pin/5840674487590800/)
Furthermore, Google+ also doesn’t support every video website. Eventually, Pinterest, Google+, and other new-ish services will have support for many more oEmbed-enabled video services.
Interesting – I was hoping someone with technical knowledge would provide the answer! Much appreciated.
